Libreband & Dexband Sizing Instructions
Sizing measurements
The measurements for our armbands are based on upper arm circumference, so customers are advised to measure around the part of the arm where the CGM/sensor is going to be positioned – you can use a tape measure or alternatively, a piece of string and ruler.

Libreband fitting tips for a comfortable wear
Most important fitting tip
The most important fitting tip is that the armband should stay in place without slipping, but it should never need to be pulled tight like an elastic armband.
Libreband uses a neoprene strap, so it is designed to sit securely through correct sizing rather than tension.
Unlike an elastic sports armband, tightening a Libreband does not make it work better. A correctly fitted Libreband should feel secure and comfortable rather than tight.
If the armband slides down the arm, it may be too loose. If it feels tight, leaves deep marks or feels uncomfortable, it may need loosening. The ideal fit is secure, comfortable and easy to forget you're wearing an armband.
1. Take a little time to find your perfect fit
When wearing your Libreband for the first time, adjust the strap using the plastic slider until it sits comfortably around your upper arm.
Medium-sized armbands are supplied at a mid-size setting and should be adjusted to suit the individual wearer. The slider can be used to make the strap smaller or larger as required.
Some trial and error may be needed initially. Some people also find it easier if a family member or friend helps with the first fitting.
Most fitting issues are resolved by making a small adjustment to the slider during the first wear.
2. The velcro secures the armband – it isn't for sizing
The overall size is set using the slider, while the velcro simply keeps the armband securely in place.
When correctly adjusted, the velcro tabs should align neatly. The strap should feel secure and comfortable, but it does not need to be pulled tight.
3. Once fitted, leave the slider alone
After finding the correct size, the slider should not normally need adjusting again.
The armband can then be removed and put back on by gently sliding or "walking" it up and down the arm without changing the original setting.
4. Slide the armband on and off
To put on your Libreband, gently slide or "walk" it up your arm and carefully lift the cover over your sensor.
Many users find this becomes quick and easy after the first few wears.
5. Small adjustments are normal
Upper arm size can vary slightly throughout the day, during exercise and in warmer weather.
If needed, make small adjustments using the velcro to maintain a comfortable fit.
Remember, the armband should stay in place without slipping, but it should never feel tight or restrictive.

FAQs
Why does my Libreband keep slipping down my arm?
The slider may need tightening slightly. The overall fit is controlled by the slider, not the velcro.
Should Libreband feel tight?
No. Libreband should stay in place without slipping, but it should never need to be pulled tight like an elastic armband.
How often should I adjust the slider?
Normally only during the initial fitting. Once correctly adjusted, most users leave the slider unchanged and use only minor velcro adjustments if required.
